As the first seat of the Roman Empire and the Catholic Church, it has had a tremendous impact on social customs throughout the world. Several European languages are based on Its Latin language. Venice is a city in northeastern Italy and the capital of the Veneto region. It is situated across a group of 118 small islands that are separated by canals and linked by bridges.
