Ifrane is a town in Morocco, with a population of 30,000 and situated in the Middle Atlas at an altitude of 1,713 meters. It is the capital of the province of Ifrane, in the region of Fes-Meknes.
In 2013, the city was ranked second cleanest city in the world.
In Amazigh, ifran means caves (in the plural). The region is known for its natural caves dug in the Jurassic carbonate layer in the form of karts, which extend to the regions of El Hajeb and Sefrou. The development of Ifrane and its region owes much to the natural potentialities, particularly cedar, and this, since the period of the protectorate of Morocco.
This city is known for its natural beauty throughout the year, and especially in winter thanks to the snowfall. Indeed, there are two ski resorts in the vicinity of the city: Michlifen and Habri.

Rissani or Er-Rissani, also known as Moulay Ali Chérif in reference to the ancestor and founder of the Alawite dynasty, is a town in the province of Errachidia in the Drâa-Tafilalet region of Morocco. Rissani, formerly called Sijilmassa, is the former capital of Tafilalet and a former major caravan center. Rissani has remained one of the great shopping centers of the region, with a big souk, particularly lively on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Most of the trade that once existed with Africa involved gold, ivory, slaves and salt imported from Mali. The leather of the Tafilalet was made at Rissani, and had no equal in the whole of Morocco. It is a fine and supple leather, made of tanned goat skin with tamarisk bark.
Its position as a crossroads between the north and the south gives the city an important status and has allowed it an unparalleled urban development by the presence of different Ksour of world renown.

Merzouga is a small village located in southeastern Morocco in the Tafilalt Region. It is about 55 kilometers from Erfoud and 35 kilometers southeast of Rissani.
The village is not too far from the Algerian borders (about fifty kilometers).
The village is known for its proximity to Erg Chebbi: an extensive sand dunes in ocher color. He is the largest erg in the Sahara in Morocco with the highest dunes.
There are years when, in spring, a seasonal lake arises, to the north-west of the village, attracting different species of birds, including flamingos and other freshwater birds.
It is for this reason that a part of the routes of many tourists who visit Morocco passes by this locality.
The activities offered to tourists are trekking by camel, bivouac in the desert, quad and, in summer, arenotherapy (or sand bath).

Tinghir is a city in east-central Morocco, in the region of Draa-Tafilalet, located in the Todgha Valley, at the exit of the High Atlas and facing the djebel Saghro. It is an immense oasis extending over about 30 km in length and varying in width between 200m upstream and 4 km downstream.
